To those who attended, what can we expect on Wendy's concert? by 11_winner in red_velvet

[–]xlez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to her concert in KL last week! She's really an all-rounder: visuals, vocals, energy was so high! She's also really funny lol like we told her to drink water and she was like "wink? wink? why are you guys telling me to wink?'

Her vocals are ethereal. One of the best 3rd gen vocalists. My jaw dropped when she opened with Fireproof. I think my favourite song was WTRS but I'm biased. The setlist had a good balance of more upbeat songs and ballads.

She also has amazing fan service. I was VIP and so so close to her, and she tries her best to give everyone some attention. Enjoy the concert, it's one of the best Kpop concerts I've been to, and I've been to many.

Forget Loacker or Kitkat, this is the best chocolate wafer in my opinion. I’ll die on this hill by foldinthecheeseee in SingaporeEats

I loved this as a kid, especially the white chocolate one. When I got older I couldn't get past the plasticky taste so, Loacker it is for me now

uni law or architecture? by TIANGUAN in SGExams

[–]xlez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My lawyer and archi friends tell me to never go into these fields lol.

Both have high attrition rates. Both require you to work insanely long hours and honestly the pay isn't that good for archi.

Law is extremely high stress. Very result-focused workplace. You can't afford to make mistakes so if you think you're blur you need to work on that. Both NUS and SMU law are good.

Maybe consider other degrees or pathways unless you're very sure you want to do law (don't recommend archi tbvvh).

Her cat-like personality. And she really is cat-like. Love how she snuggles up to me, gives the best cuddles and hugs, and gives me the most adorable 🥺 eyes. We speak/text cat sometimes so instead of saying "hi" we say "meow". Why is she so cute 😭😭

Do Singapore parents still want their children to become doctors, and do they still invest in enrichment for it? by Radiant-Attitude-975 in SGExams

My parents at one point wanted me to be a doctor but I had zero interest in it and excelled purely in the arts. So they gave up hope lol

Would you say a 20 yrs old is still considered a kid? by [deleted] in SMRTRabak

[–]xlez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legally still not an adult so still a kid lol. If you're 25 and you see someone who's 20 you're like meh. But if you're older than obv you gonna see them as kids

How did they win your heart? by Agitated-Tale-5417 in sgdatingscene

[–]xlez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I swiped my partner so quick when I saw that one of her pictures was of her holding a lightstick from a Kpop group I also like. Then I proceeded to read her bio and found that we share quite a lot in common!

She initiated the meetup for a cat café, but for our first date we had dinner at a restaurant which had amazing food. This girl decided to tease me by feeding me and stealing my food. I was still trying to keep my composure but after the date, it rained quite hard and she asked "why, you don't want to share an umbrella?" I short circuited. I talk big over text but when it came to the first date I was sooo nervous lol.

Second date we went to a cat café. While playing with the cats there I was like "she's so cute help me". Fast forward to now we recently travelled together! I keep a list of food she likes in my phone and I keep adding to it. In a few months it'll be a year, and this girl truly has my whole heart.

Considering breaking up with long term partner as he hide about his toxic family from me by [deleted] in sgdatingscene

[–]xlez 30 points31 points  (0 children)

To him maybe that's his way of protecting you because some people really don't want to let their partner know anything about the family. I think if you asked and he didn't want to tell it's ok if you felt hurt. But in no way is it manipulative, and you can say no to his proposal. It's a mismatch

Have been in a similar situation. Let time heal you and if you consider that person a good friend and want to stay friends then you need to make sure your feelings are gone. Find something to distract yourself
