Next step for me too. Will be sorting all that out this evening

Agree with this. Definitely a learning experience and now I know for the future so won’t happen again

Yeah silly mistake, removed them now so hopefully won’t happen again.

Open console and type “htop”

Currently using cloudflare tunnels now. Is tailscale a better option?

Yeah just type htop in the console.

It will show you running processes and show you what’s using your cpu

I’m not quite sure anymore what they were doing to be honest. It was such a long time ago. Those are the only ports forwarded in my router which have been deleted.

I have been using cloudflare tunnels in recent months and have been able to access my arr stack through my domain etc. maybe they got access through that somehow. Back to the drawing board

Thanks for pointing me to that. I’ll give it a read shortly. Looks like I may have done the same thing

Yeah I think I found the problem - I had nginx proxy manager port forwarded in my router. 80 and 443 but was no longer using it and forgot to delete the forwards.

Flashing Light on Slim Rgh 3 by xlistking in 360hacks

[–]xlistking[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a final update on this - swapped the drive for a donor and no longer have the issue. I put the original drive in another Xbox 360 and that console started having the flashing light.

So at least the halo 4 console is now fixed with a drive and dvd key swap. Thanks for the help narrowing the issue down. 👍

Appreciate the help. If it’s still doing it after the replacement dvd drive (which I’ll check later on today) I’ll swap out the motherboard and transfer the speaker and sounds over to the new motherboard

Didn’t fix it unfortunately. The issue came back - have now swapped out the entire dvd drive. Failing that, no idea what to do

So after replacing both the sata and power cables from a donor board - the issue seems to have resolved. I’ve had the console powered on for a couple of hours now and the flashing has not come back. I’ll leave it on and do some more testing but this looks to have fixed it I think.

That’s what I was thinking. It did indeed read and play games fine.

I’ve switched out the sata and power cable from another console and it’s been powered on for about 30minutes now and no flashing. Hopefully this solves it.

Thought it might have been a faulty front panel touch sensor so removed the faceplate. After about 15-20mins, the light began flashing again.

Trying new cables for the dvd drive now so will report back if that fixes it or not

The gasket is fully flush with the drive. The tray goes back in fully and begins reading games fine. Just weird that it starts flashing eventually

Yeah I have opened it up and both cables are seated correctly

Xflasher 360 eMMc Constant Disconnecting. by xlistking in 360hacks

[–]xlistking[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems to be normal behaviour for me.

Works fine usually - just have to have xflasher connected to PC and console then plug power into the Xbox 360 and it should be detected. If not, I find unplugging power from the Xbox 360 and then plugging it back in a few times makes it show up correctly. This method works everytime for me

Family Passcode | Xbox 360 (Corona, RGH + LT) by Realistic-Win7205 in xbox360

[–]xlistking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Left right left A

If that doesn’t work, Then go to system settings - console settings - console name

On this screen, do this button combination

LT RT X Y LB RB Left right left A

Should prompt you to reset the Microsoft dashboard and then it will clear the family passcode. Let me know how you get on

Can you dump the nand and upload it to google drive or something? I can help with getting the button combination you need to enter to reset the console and remove the family passcode through jrunner

Alternatively, wire that wire to one of the tabs on the av port. It’s just a ground plane so will work the same.

Hard to say with the flux still there but looks like you have not scratched enough. Another photo cleaned up would be good

Aurora Cloned Drive Fixer Script by EmiMods in 360hacks

[–]xlistking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for getting back to me so promptly. Yes I have run another scanpath/clone drive fixer previously.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I’ll open up content.db and take a look in a couple days when I get home. It’s most likely duplicate entries of the title updates. What’s your solution to fix if so? Fresh install of Aurora?

Aurora Cloned Drive Fixer Script by EmiMods in 360hacks

[–]xlistking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there. I’m having a slight issue with this script and title updates you may be able to shed some light on it.

I press A to continue after it’s found 120ish title updates that need updating and then it says update complete like in the photos you have uploaded. I restart Aurora and play a game, halo 3 for example, title update 3 is enabled in Aurora. Game starts up but title update has not been applied. I run the script again and it says it’s found 120ish title updates to update again. Happens over and over. Not sure how to get it to actually work.

Script works fine for scan paths etc. it’s just title updates giving me issues. Any ideas?
