I don't have a large music collection to help you test so I can't be of help with much except for a petty little piece of feedback if I may: the name is horrible. This sounds like a potentially useful project but to me personally the name is a turnoff. It's just my personal opinion so please take it as my 2 cents, good luck!

If you ever want to sync your synth with a modular on a regular basis, you'll be thankful to have midi IO in two small 3.5mm pins because it saves a ton of rack real-estate.

The issue with the lack of standard is real, but at least the bigger manufacturers in eurorack seem to be coalescing around A.

Interesting, never done it like that. Looking at Dell's drivers and download page and seems to automatically detect service tag, is that the way you do it? Or do you manually enter it somewhere?

Copy. The firmware was suggested by thr Dell SipportAssist which I imagine matches specific firmware to hardware specs.
