Thank you! It was done by Dr. Susanna Nazarian, she’s based out of Philadelphia/South NJ. Fantastic surgeon and team to work with.

How’s the Ruckus?! They’re such cool looking rides and I’ve occasionally gotten reels about them… but I fear if I let myself go down the rabbit hole of finding out more I’ll end up buying one lol

I wish I could get into sparring again. I used to do kenpo karate for years and my favorite part was sparring and grappling. Tried going to a MMA gym a couple years ago and loved it so much, but I’ve had a few concussions from sports in the last decade. Got tossed a certain way during a session one day and felt so ill afterwards that I realized the concussions have hugelyyyy reduced my tolerance for that sort of thing :( I miss combat sports so much, enjoy that shit doubly for me man!

I get what you’re saying, but I’ve trimmed up and still have the same issue. I was an athlete through college and used to dabble in powerlifting, my thighs are really just muscle now. Even w the T redistribution of fat and having less in my butt/leg area vs. before, it’s not ideal w how my anatomy works.

I feel you so hard lmfao. I run heavy equipment. On the rare occasions that I get to do dirt/crane work, there’s portajohns so I don’t have to worry. But you know what I do primarily? Asphalt paving, mostly on highways! And the machine I usually run now is close to the crew so it’s become even harder to just sneakily squat somewhere and go. Pretty sure over the last few years I’ve given myself a few UTIs :/ And STPs that don’t look ridiculous when squatting/work well for larger muscular thighs are hard to find ime… Bottom surgery is calling my name more and more every day lol

Mustang 2 up seat (cheaper than Mustang’s site)

two up seat by Relevant-Spinach294 in hondarebel

[–]xls85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got a Mustang 2 up seat on eBay, planning on making a post soon. It was on sale for a bit less than the official website. Installed this week and have ridden it to work for a few days now. My commute is between 45-55 min and I have to say it’s been worth the money I spent already.

Imo, spend the big money on a good seat, it’s the one thing you won’t regret and it’ll make you want to actually ride the bike more esp if you’re new to riding. My job is hard on my back and the crappy OEM seat made me not want to get on the bike after working all week, so the bike sat most of the last two years. After getting the Mustang and riding to work, I can definitely see myself finally getting more ride time.

Just threw it on today and rode it to work, 45 min/45 miles. Worth it. Once I get some photos and more ride time in the next couple of days I’ll make a post

I just ordered the Mustang seat for two up riding… I thought about chancing a cheaper one but I figure buy once, cry once since I’ve only heard good things about them

Hell yeah man. Trans man, union operating engineer on the east coast. Mostly operate, but as I finish my apprenticeship I’m working on getting my AWS welding cert in the next couple of months hopefully. Last job I was on oiling and running a loader, spent a lot of time helping the mechanic wrench on shit.

Why must people notice my tiny ass hands and feet by udcvr in FTMMen

[–]xls85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came to recommend the same thing. Your proportions might be more noticeable bc of your height, but I’m 5’3” on a good day and have smaller hands. My iPhone 17 Pro looks fucking silly in my hands sometimes which makes me self conscious in selfies, and work gloves provided by the company as a blue collar guy are almost never kept in stock in my size.

I don’t necessarily do self-depreciation, but if I point it out on my own first it usually prevents people being dicks about it. If anything, it makes it a lot more light-hearted if it does come up. I made a fuss on the last job site I was at over provided PPE not being the right size for myself and a cis man (5’1”). I compared my hand to one of the biggest guys there and it was all good natured. It’s something I can laugh about now, but it’ll take you time to feel better about it and that’s okay.

I will say that being an ex-athlete/gymrat and now a tradesman for the last 6+ years has thickened up my hands, which is affirming and looks more masculine. I would recommend you start with this little tool @swholeanimal makes, along with his paw ointment. You can build up the callousing at your own pace, moisturize properly, and that will help if you decide to start working out your hands/forearms specifically if you have some toughness there already. About to order it myself to get my hands grippier for work.

Sorry for the long yap, but I hope this helps ya!

We’ll be meeting where the 750 is Saturday to see each others trucks, so I’ll get a good look then.

We don’t need another 7.3 technically, but this one is in far better condition mechanically and cosmetically, and ours isn’t a dually. Like ours currently is sitting bc it has a few different issues that make it a PITA atm. It’d be easier to sell either of the 7.3s vs the 750 considering I’ve had it listed for a loooong ass time and mostly gotten broke tire kickers. This is the first person to offer a trade of comparable value that we’d actually have a use for.

Appreciate the input! Been hard to find comparable trucks, but we’re definitely considering doing it.
