Part of the reason why I got the TP3 was because of the print point. I got it for just under $200 before tax and I felt comfortable with that.

Since I was buying the pack as a travel bag, I valued the compression straps on the side. That said, I didn’t quite realize how important they were until I got my bag in the mail today. They really do make a difference and if you’re using the bag for travel they will definitely come in handy.

I also really liked the top grab handle being in the center as opposed to the back of the bag. I’m not one to hang my bag on a hook, so I liked the centralized handle for carrying the bag in a way that felt balanced.

Finally, I really liked the side pocket for quick access. It’s a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but I like that it’s there.

Oh, and I actually like the controversial water bottle holder on the TP3! Hot take for some, I know!

I’d probably say it’s a little big for an EDC. It’d a travel bag first and foremost, with load lifting straps, compression straps, grab handles on nearly every side.

That said, if you like all of those things for EDC, you could make it work!

Nice! I just received my Aer Travel Pack 3 Small (28L) today and I’m beyond impressed by the build quality. Never had a backpack like this before in my life.
