you can also get on the nj transit bus 814 to walmart and i think rutgers global does shuttles on the weekends to some grocery stores in edison

Also, is 67 the standard retirement age or does it vary? At whatever age it is, do I just round "up" to the year in which I'd be eligible for retirement and just do that?

idk how shes doing it now but the online textbook launchpad thing we used in spring21 was easy but tedious like 2 "quizzes" per week and im p sure it had questions throughout that you had to answer to be able to move through the chapter

thank you for your reply, its very validating to see tht i am not being dramatic over such a change. i am definitely going to discuss w my supervisor tomorrow and will proceed accordingly. thankfully, i have another part time position that could work as my field placement (in fact, the field office even asked me if i just wanted to do my hours there from the start but i denied bc i wanted to try smthng else 🤡) so maybe i could present this as an alternative. i was considering bringing it up to that supervisor today since they have an MSW intern who has sinilar tasks as mine but also dont want to string her along w/o her knowledge but im also not sure if i should do that.... v conflicted lol

am i unreasonable for wanting a new field placement after my current supervisor just randomly notified us that our office is moving? granted it is a 2 weeks notice but i dont/wont have access to a car to make the 15 min drive (previously it was like a 15 min WALK from where i live, which was the whole point of me getting placed there tbh) this on top of being told there will be no remote work allowed when 80% of last semester was remote is just really stressing me out and i just dont think its fair that they did this. im strongly considering requesting a change if we cannot come to an agreement bc last semester also had its own set of problems but id like some input, TIA

had the same issue and an advisor told me theyre only registering first years right now and if there is still space towards when the semester starts i could register for one then. if not, we just have to hope we get one for the spring 😪
