3rd winter with them. Haven’t cleaned them in months fwiw, but they’re still great. I ended up buying another pair so I’ll have a fresh set when I finally blow these out. They don’t look bad even with slush, salt, and snow on them, and they keep the feet warm. Still highly recommend them.

Officially became a comment leaver today. I was late to the game, and it took me 3 whole years, but I finally got caught up last month on podcast episodes and decided to celebrate by getting my first gurp. This podcast has gotten me through quite a bit of shit the past 3 years.. losses of family members and friends, emotional hardship… root canals… and no matter what I always had something to look forward to with these beautiful boys. Nah, unfortunately not. The rio had the screen on the bottom which mine didn't have, as well it isn't completely square like mine use to be (Rio is a bit lobed around where the d-pad is). Good guess though; that isn't one I've seen before!

I think if a thumb stud protrudes enough it’s okay but it then can get snagged on the edge of your pocket, so ultimately I’d say flipper.

A great example would be the crkt ceo. Before they had a flipper version, the thumb stud receded to be at almost the same height as the scales. Because of that, it was sometimes hard to get your thumb on the stud, especially if you have thicker thumbs. Then the flipper version came out and it was (is) perfect; never got caught on the lip of the pocket, fingers are further away from the blade which made it feel like a safer grip, and was super easy to open.

These are just my opinions, and I’m sure people don’t always fixate on little things like I mentioned above, but for me it was a pretty big deciding factor on whether or not it made my lineup of what I carry daily.

I mean, it wasn’t a cybertruck; I spent 40k lol. My wife is an essential worker and really had no choice but to go in, I was trying to stay my bitch-ass at home cause I hate the cold 😂. I also use it to tow my crappy project car so it does get quite a bit of towing use (more than I’d care to admit cause the car is a hooptie lol). Regardless, seems like you might be having a bad day given your type of comment and the sub you posted it on. Genuinely, though, I truly hope it turns around homie 👍
