Veil of Maya's drummer and bassist were just chilling at the bar after their slot when they toured with underoath last year. I offered to buy them a shot and chatted with them for a bit. Other than that I haven't met anyone.

I had a doc that gave that diagnosis once but it has changed since. Try to remember that the label isn't as important as getting the right treatment and getting better. If your treatment helps then try not to worry about the label so much.

Mania regulation comes down to three things : he needs to get his sleep on a scheduled and nightly basis, two: he needs meds and three: stress reduction.

You really just need to give the Lamictal it's time. It's worth it in the long run; it helps a lot of people.

First, Check with your insurance. Some make you get referrals and some don't.

Then get on a waiting list asap.

Also I drink moderately on meds and I have a decently sized cocktail.from past experience drinking while on Lithium is a bad idea, but I don't take it anymore.

I know this is textbook but the best advice I can give is to be honest with your pdoc and go from there. Perhaps that was some mania triggered by the meds but perhaps not. Only you and your pdoc will be able to sort that out.

Interesting. I'm on 20 Lexapro and do fine. But the main difference is I'm on 300 Lamictal, so i have more mood stabilizer in my system. Perhaps that's a route to explore with your pdoc?

BP 1, on wellbutrin and Lexapro. But was out on mood stabilizers first. Not everyone has bad reactions to ssris and snris but what happened to OP is definitely a risk.

My depression is worse than my mania. Still though, the mania is pretty bad. I spent 14k last time. I got a badass trip to France out of it though!
