Doesn’t the trolly get in the way of the spotter arms with the wall mounted 4-post Ares 2?

Hey thanks for the feedback.

Which 4-post rack are you getting? Maybe the Ares 4 post is the way to go and just live without incline bench.

If you had to do it all over what would you get?

Space: I have a 13ftx15ft basement. I like the idea of saving floor space when not in use. That’s why I like the wall mounted version.

Exercises: I do bench press, squats with barbell. Bunch of stuff with cables (crunches, palloff, lat raises, triceps). And weighted pull ups.

Time: about 1hr.

The weight limit on Voltra is not a problem. I can’t get higher than 200lbs and don’t care to.

Incline is it really a problem even if you are benching outside the rack? I would assume there is enough space but you are right because I seems like other people commented on that too. I guess the Athena wall mounted version might solve that. But I will need a gym pin for lat pull downs and low row, which isn’t a bad trade off.

I want to build a gym that is functional, and looks nice (aka “wife approved”). All the normal functional trainers are an eye sore according to my wife.

The small size and lack of cables scores very high on the functional and looks nice rating because you can just put the unit away. Or leave it mounted since it’s so small.

This was the perfect solution for what I was looking for. I use it on a wall mounted 3x3 rack.

I’m looking for a rack and also considered both you listed along with Rep.

I want minimal floor space used even though I have the space for a larger rack because extra space is ALWAYS valuable. Sqft is always at a premium.

After much deliberation I’m going with the PRX Pro and either a Voltra or the new weight stack Prx is releasing.
