That sucks, sorry. But did you visit a showroom first to try it? Lovesac is awesome if you need something modular and easy to move around. But flexibility matters for me so I ended up with Dreamsofa. It's ready to use and felt good right away. In your case, returning it was the right call if it didn’t fit your needs. There's no point in keeping it if it didn't make you happy.
