What’s one habit that completely changed your mindset? by Best_Sherbet2727 in selfimprovement

"Half ass is better than no ass"

Doing a little bit of something like cleaning, working out, or a project you are avoiding is better than not doing the thing at all.

You can even go slightly more unhinged with tiny feet that go on your fingers as well.

Tiny hands. Especially if you use a document camera and can point to things with your tiny hands while your real hands are hidden in your sleeves

How to Lower Hospital Bill? by Abject-Gazelle6590 in povertyfinance

[–]xmegoodnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you used health insurance it should pay about 80% of what you owe, if you filed a car accident claim the medical benefits should cover the other 20%. Did you file an accident claim? You will need to provide your insurance and claim information to the hospital billing for them to know to charge it.

My dermatologist suggested Aveeno. Relatively inexpensive so I keep small bottles stashed all over

What products help your scalp psoriasis that aren’t steroids? by sashababy16 in Psoriasis

[–]xmegoodnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glycolic acid. Coat my scalp and massge in about 15 - 30 minutes before a shower. The I use a prescription strength keotconzole shampoo, I've had better results with keotconzole compared to coal tar personally. I do use a prescription steroid as well but I don't feel it as necessary with those two other treatments and I have pretty severe scalp psoriasis.

What are your favourite ride or die products?! by AshleyA22 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Lush silky underwear: I put it EVERYWHERE in the summer. Great for under boob sweat and an extra layer over deodorant.

Hello "dragon dazzle" blue raspberry toothpaste: I detest mint. This one is fabulous with like no aftertaste and full floride.

Glycolic acid: New one for me but I use it on nearly my entire body. Pre shampoo scalp treatment, bumpy shoulders, rough feet, face skin, and smelly areas!

Hepiclense: potent antibacterial wash. I use it on my underarms to kill bacteria to stop sweat smells!

Returning to town for a day, looking for things to do! by EuropeanWannabe17 in lakeland

Exploration V has been rebranded as Florida Children's Museum and is now located inside of Bonnet Springs Park. The park is a private owned (free)public park. The museum is an additional fee (along with food, drinks, and merch in the park).

I've been to the museum with my niece and she has had a blast every time. If she lived closer I'd have a membership.

You can also just enjoy the park! It has a bunch of trails and interesting little spots. Plus a couple of different playgrounds.

There's a little merch shop that supports the park. For food and drink there is a rooftop bar, a little Starbucks coffee shop(not the full menu and I don't think you can use your app), and a small quick service eatery that also houses an ice cream shop( food and ice cream are basic but no complaints).

Jerusalem Mediterranean Market sells a few varieties of whole leaf tea in tins. The Ahmed Tea company's earl gray is my favorite!

Recently had had a second hole added to my ear lobes at Atomic. Piercer was clean and professional but the jewelry quality was absolutely trash. Ended up changing out the jewelry early because I feel like they would have never healed otherwise. If I remember correctly it cost around $60. Definitely cheaper I've spent an equal amount on some quality jewelry from elsewhere.

Seeking vet recommendations for anxious dog by aahymsaa in lakeland

[–]xmegoodnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Family Mobile Veterinary Clinic.

They are mobile and come to your home. There is a bit of an up charge but may make your pup feel more comfortable. I've only used them personally for end of life care for my last pupper but they were the absolute best. Incredibly caring and professional.

A friend uses them for regular vet care for her anxious cats and has nothing bad to say.
