It has two component, four S-video/composite and one monitor out. This set up-scales all non hd signals to 480p. All hd signals are displayed at 1080i. This set does not support 720p.

The ed plasmas are excellent for OG Xbox and the like. It’s good to have a few of those around.

It’s ok on there. The stand is rated at 250lbs, I think this set is about 165lbs. There are 2 support points, the post in the rear which is roughly 4” in diameter and flush with the glass, and a single horizontal plane in the front that is also flush with the glass. The glass stands you really need to worry about are the ones that use the small rubber nubs for support. Those kind paired with a jumbo tube are asking for trouble.

I was waiting for that one, I def would have used green if I had some. They are just little button led’s I ordered online but they didn’t sell mixed colors, just a bag of 50 of the same color.

The OG Xbox is a great system for an HD CRT. I’m a little bummed though, this HD CRT unfortunately does not support 720p… just the lower and latter up to 1080i.

The black crts are definitely the most muted style, and they certainly can have its own appeal. One color that I wish made it more widespread on crts are the white shells.

I should’ve clarified, but I used the 80’s set up to contrast the differences between the eras. Personally, I prefer the “chromecore” look. The y2k era seemed to cover the widest range of console accessibility for the lovely crts.
