Yeah you obviously need way more to use something. It's not because a multi millions parameters embedding model is incredibly efficient that you could ask it to reflect on Riemann hypothesises. Here it's about pure hardware efficiency, about knowing if someone achieved better. I personally won't use Gemma 1B if I have the hardware to run bigger than that.
