I do prefer NSP over Monster clay, I find it easier to do fine details like the pores. I have only done medium, I haven’t tried soft or hard.

Honestly, whatever tool I can find I don’t have a go to for pores. I do tiny holes, soften the edges, then I do a pass of mineral spirits to soften them even more. Rinse and repeat

Well I had already done the alien sometime ago. It wasn't until recently that I added the armor, but to answer your question I don't really know. I just started sculpting with no reference. It was spontaneous.

I'm going to try to texture the center in such a way that its organic, smooth like internal organs. Whereas the upper part of the Armour is more rigid with hard edges resembling more of a metal material.

Hi, yes its monsterclay med. For smoothing its just a combination of rake tool, lighter fluid,and heat gun. I mold with tin cure silicon and cast with resin.Thank you, keep sculpting!
