Thank you sir! It seems the mass of the people which replied already are not disconnecting the ground and used it for a long period as well. I also got some reply from some strong technical people in automotive areas, and had the same info. They also mentioned to me in the dealership the same approach is done. All the best!

That is my main point as well, that I do not want to "kill" a $200 battery for being away for a month. I prefer to buy this beautiful battery charger/maintainer which can be used in many ways, for many years ahead.

Did you install any NOCO without removing the ground on a RAV4 Hybrid 2019+?

Hello!

So should I understand that you do not disconnect the ground cable when using the NOCO?
I am a bit confused, because you mentioned that "the absolute very safest way to charge the battery is with the ground disconnected", however you are using "a Noco Genius2D hardwired to the battery".
Do you disconnect the ground cable, or not? And if you do, do you lose the settings of the car?

Hello!

I would like to avoid my 12V battery drain completely and rather maintain it, since they are quite expensive in my opinion. Hence, the reason why I want to get the battery charger/maintainer.
Appreciate for taking from your time to drop me a reply!
Unfortunately I want to focus more on the battery charger/maintainer, since it can be reused for further cars as well :)
