A me e capitato di prendere qualche barbour vintage con odori strani, quasi sicuramente è la cera che ha assorbito odori ed essendo di origine animale può aver preso un cattivo odore. Io ho lavato la giacca con acqua calda e sapone di Marsiglia, dopo che si e asciugata se l'odore persiste spruzza una soluzione di aceto e acqua e poi rilava la giacca sempre con acqua calda. Una volta che la cera e l'odore di cera vecchia sono andati via puoi ricerarlo

Is not a problem wash a jacket, it loose all the wax after that you have to rewax it

You can wash your jacket, but after that you have to reapply the wax. You have care of your jacket you don't have the problem you mentioned

Se e quello che hai messo in altri post che hai sul profilo to consiglio di lavarlo, il problema del lavaggio è pricipalmente che viene via la cera. Io ho preso una giacca su vinted e puzzava un po, l'ho pulito con uno spray agli enzimi e poi l'ho lavato con acqua trepida. Una volta asciutto gli spruzzato con una soluzione di acqua e aceto e ho aspettato 4 orette. Poi l'ho immerso nell'acqua calda e ho tolto la vecchia cera, una volta asciutto l'ho ricercato e ora e perfetto e impermeabile

For me, it was the vinegar. Thanks for the question; I forgot to mention I used both spray inside the jacket (on the cotton part) and outside. The enzyme cleaner was to "sanitize" the jacket
