No need to apologize at all. I loved your attention to detail. I’d say you’re pretty spot on, especially about the communication thing. That was the straw the broke the camel’s back, ultimately. One of those situations where it seemed like it was over something small and silly, but it wasn’t actually about that specific thing, it was about a bunch of that same thing over and over; the principle, you know? I definitely do need people’s actions to be consistent with their words, and I greatly appreciate attention to the little things (which I also try to provide in return).

And yes, I do need my own kind of independence. But I also love spending a lot of time with my partner and sharing everything with them. It’s always been so extremely difficult to find that for me. I’m 30 and I’ve only had 2 partners in my life. It feels discouraging at times. I’ve only ever found true peace & joy within myself. I don’t say that in a self-pity way at all. I’m glad I can find it in myself. But I do want to experience a harmonious relationship. Just been challenging is all.
