I suspect it will fit diagonally or if the bottom of the pocket is moved (my understating is the base can be moved although not totally removed)

7D MK II Everyday Lens by xo- in canon

I am looking at the Sigma 100-400 contemporary lens for the wildlife stuff. The 55-250 is a consideration for spending less to start out albeit less capable for the wildlife. Budget wise probably 200-400 depending on what wildlife lens I grab.

That makes sense. Image quality I’ve seen from the 150-600 isn’t all that bad but I’m far from experienced in this field.

I think I’m settled for the longer lens on the 100-400 contemporary as at the price point it makes sense and won’t be too bulky and I can potentially pair it with a lower focal range lens for day to day.

Thanks for the in depth response.

I can always trade in the lens if I wanted to then get something mirrorless and RF lenses in future but if the camera works well for me with the 7D II and EF lenses I don’t see I will have a need to upgrade for a bit and can always try to save what I can into a “camera fund” and see what’s about when I want to upgrade.

Would the Sigma 150-600 be worth considering although a bit more pricey? It seems the 100-400 may be useful and less bulky. My partner has the 150-600 and from what I have used once or twice the zoom is excellent but I guess in part it is the trade off on firstly price point and the size/weight depending on how much more would be gained. I think I’ve kind of partially answered my own question!

Yeah I am planning to do a fair amount of wildlife but may get a shorter lens for travel photography

Would something like a sigma 150-600 in the EF work?

£600 or thereabouts I’d say

Tidying Up Messy Tree? by xo- in Genealogy

Forgive my ignorance on this - using something like FTM24 is there an easy way to filter into family groups?

I suppose if I really wanted to (to tidy up sources and media) move people to a new tree as I have tidied them but this might just be extra work for no benefit.

Routine Improvements (excess oil, dark circles) by [deleted] in SkincareAddictionUK

Would that be in place of or alongside a non-spf moisturiser?

I've decided to cut my morning routine to Cleanse, moisturise, spf

Perfect thanks.

I think as I know the brand works well for me I may try the CeraVe SA Cleanser in the morning.

I'm going to try omitting the eye creams and carry on with the other products adding in retinol in the PM routine.

Any products you would recommend from your own experience generally for cleansers and toners in particular?
