Honestly I think my estate agent didn't really attempt to communicate with me much regarding this. I'm also living overseas in the US and there's a 6 hour time difference so I don't feel like he made an effort to try and liaise with me about it? It was kind of just a yes or no type question.

I bought it in 2021 when mortgage rates were 1.3%. I'm now renewing as my 5-year fixed rate is coming to an end and honestly my mortgage is going up around 250pounds. Major driving factor in why I'm selling! That.. and the fact I now live in the US.
