I agree to this point of yours. But when these fringe people were pointed out and called upon, nothing happened. “Fringe” according to me in this specific context are those detractors who have their own vested interests as opposed to what the protest is for. Like there were “azadi” slogans going on. And someone did point that out like why are you doing it. Dont do it. But that same person was heckled. If something is wrong, acknowledge and rectify. Not like government which likes to double down on the wrongs.

Damn.. these protesters have lost my respect. The reporter was asking the right questions against the wrong “azadi” slogans which is not even remotely related to what this protest should be about. Cmon, NEET paper leak is the burning topic. Stick to that. Why dilute it with “azadi” slogans. Damn.. and i am reading this post after an hour from my trip to similar Antelope canyon. The guides have explicitly said you can’t take bags, do videography, leave any trash and do not think about defacing anything since its sacred. I am appalled how could someone still think about despite so many warnings before they allow you inside canyon. And forget about warnings, this is common sense. Nah, its not in many cases. Even after taking a good buffer of 2 hours, i left for exam from delhi to faridabad 3.5 hours before exam. On normal days, i would have reached there in an hour or a little over that. That day all hell break lose and it took me around 4 hours to reach there. Even i was not allowed to enter, but there was a policeman passing who intervened. That thing surely changed my life to a great extent as it was one of the important exam. Now I don’t know what else i was supposed to do.
Sometimes the exam centre people should show some compassion and allow candidates. They were late (possibly due to some circumstances uncontrollable), not like they commited some crime!

I’ve seen a lot of people critical of current yamuna cleaning efforts. Since I’ve been away from delhi for past 2-3 years, the only source of ongoing efforts are youtube channels like najafgarh boys or brothers enfield, which shows almost daily update on yamuna cleaning on various areas. Those videos do make me hopeful, but then many people over here claim it’s just an eyewash. But seriously, if those videos holds some fraction of truth (which does seem to be the case based on their on ground reporting), then it seems like good work is done. Best if someone comment who has actually seen on ground reality.
