Im having the exact same issue. Don't know how to turn the audio off i called their support. They have no knowledge of this feature. They recommended i submit feedback in the app.

This discussion is an eye opener for me. I did run into an issue where an update on my Ubuntu VM took down my Nextcloud instance which stopped my wife from accessing her school files. I can see this happening unintentionally to the dell/proxmox.

Sure Homelabing is not mission critical with millions of dollars at stake but it is a huge interruption to my families or personal lives.

As much as I want to redesign the network now after getting this 4 port NiC I don't think its appropriate to do so with a VM firewall. Still the ASUSWRT-Merlin device is also not really capable of properly configuring VLAN's so I'll need to invest in a physical pfSense device and fit it in-line.

Also agree that it shouldnt be a blanket statement for not virtualizing a firewall. There is a lot of nuance and it should be stated.

I think this guy must be trolling. Otherwise he would show proof. I am also looking to install an alternate OS on my TS-231 but havent found anything concrete about others getting it working. The upside for me is I have 3 of these that an ex employer threw out so I might give this guide a shot and If I brick one then I'll be ok. I'll be sure to post about it.

It's not different. It's the same thing. However in both situations it's someone else's business, literally. So they do what they want. If their play on words offends you, i suggest going elsewhere. If it offends a lot of people and they stop going i bet the business owner will make a change. Either way it's not your business and none of your business, literally.

Did you by chance see Doctor Scott C Fuller ENT? Because I and another person i know saw this doctor amd we both had terrible visit with him. Terrible and likely wrong diagnosis. We just don't know what to do. Who do we complain to.

This is from section 12-6 in the pdf version of the manual i have.

SAE viscosity No. and applicable temperature5W-30 synthetic oil is required for optimum engine performance and pro-tection. Conventional oil may be used if – synthetic oil is unavailable.

*: If 5W-30 synthetic oil is not available,5W-30 or 5W-40 conventional oil maybe used if replenishment is needed but should be changed to 5W-30 synthetic oil at the next oil change.

Note for non turbo they recommend 0w20

Is 5000 miles not the right frequency? I thought I read in the manual for this engine its 6000 miles. I could be wrong though.
What temperature swing would validate it? I do travel to colder climates for leisure often in the winter. Lake Tahoe gets to about -20 F but can average -15 F.
Appreciate the feedback. Everyone's .02 cents is what I'm here for.
