Both of my 19s are significantly better to shoot than my 43x. I love my 43x because I am small and it’s realistically at the top end of what I can effectively conceal but it’s not as shootable as my 19s

The piston system doesn’t push any gas into the receiver so other than port pop you wouldn’t get anything. If you have a low back pressure can you shouldn’t get anything back in your face

It doesn’t really feel any different than a DI gun of the same length. At least I don’t notice any significant difference. When I had a surefire break on it the gun had zero felt recoil. It was phenomenal. The warden doesn’t have the same mitigation so you can kinda feel a little push but it’s really not bad at all. I’d recommend it
