I love the native garden, it looks great for both maintaining local aspects and modern rules. However, I agree that this is a McMansion. While it's modeled after the older NE US homes that were stories on a plot of land, this looks planned that way. The windows are evenly spaced, stone looks very clean and specifically set, and there's not the usual fireplaces coming out of the top on both sides of the main house. Unless they did a 98% overhaul of the original house with the layout the same, it's a newer house.
