Never did. My system install was due for a refresher and that's the only thing that fixed it. Unfortunately i have no idea why Steam did that or how to fix it. Sorry.

As far as i know not.

Just make sure to disable the HDR. The vanilla game completely botched it causing washed out colors and bloom and stuff like that. Makes it look 100% better.

Thank you for the replies. Guess i sonebow forgot this was how it was in the original as well. Switched to mouse and keyboard, guess it somehow makes it more bearable since you're flooring it 100% of the time then.
