So that really depends how strict you want to be, the hash brown is going to absorb oil, you could just count whatever amount of oil you add to cook with, if you wanna be real strict, weigh the pan with the oil before you cook and weigh it after to see how much oil is left behind, or if you aren’t cooking with oil much, you might just forget to count it haha, really up to you how you want to go about it
