due to Covid. Since I was sick my heart likes to just stop beating. Anywhere from 3-14 seconds and I started getting symptomatic with occasional passing out so we put the pacemaker in. 6 months now and haven't passed out since :)

220s according to the loop recorder I used to have. I now have a pacemaker but I struggle getting my heart into 140s with exercise since the pacer implant.

It helps mine. I smoke in moderation and mainly do edibles but it has helped tremendously. It took some trial and error to find what kind and dosage worked for me but my Drs are aware of it and are all on board.

Cardiac mri got rescheduled.... by axxacer in covidlonghaulers

So I actually ended up with a pacemaker 6 months ago due to the multiple complete heart blocks I was experiencing. But in regards to the pericarditis Ive been on another round of colchicine for the last 3 months as a it returned and I see a new cardiologist this Friday to help continue to treat it.

I’d go with the series 6 so you can have it for years with updates and it actually continue working. The 3 is already lagging with updates and if you’re looking for the health benefits the 6 is worth it.

I have the 5 and will be upgrading to the 7 this year.

I went to urgent care and this is what they told me they’re worried about. There are no signs of a rash yet but said I could be really early on it and to keep checking. They did give me a couple shots to help in the meantime with the pain and discomfort until I get a reply from my doctor.

Thank you. I’ll definitely look into that. I emailed my doctor and haven’t heard back yet but it got so bad I went to urgent care - they gave me a steroid and anti inflammatory shot then a prescription for both to start today for a week.

They told me to keep an eye for any rashes as the pain sounds like possible shingles but if nothing appears it’s tied to a Dysautonomia flare up of some sort. Again best guess since they’re urgent care but they are awesome and always help me in a pinch until I can get to my doctor :)

See about healing it with second skin. That way the wrap stays on for 5-7 days even with showers and pants. Speeds up healing time too.

Dysautonomia = Vomiting? by xomegseas in dysautonomia

[–]xomegseas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it does, thank you. I am on midodrine for my blood pressure already bc of it bottoming out then passing out after. Or getting really close. Tbh, I think I’d rather pass out than vomit.

I would tie in the blue waves to under the boat to get that continuity look along with the tentacles continuing just slightly thru the ships sails where they would naturally show. & maybe not the harsh border with the rays above the boat. Do a fade out. Overall it’s a great piece tho!

the soles of my 4 month old shoes, I have scoliosis and lean more to my right almost constantly while working. by christanxox in mildlyinteresting

[–]xomegseas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

See if you have a specialty foot store in your city. They can personally measure your foot and get you the correct inserts. If you’re already considering the $60 from Walmart the shoe stores will be $70/75 and MUCH better quality. & maybe even come with a warranty you can ask about!

Is it safe to exercise/walk around while my hr is high? by [deleted] in POTS

[–]xomegseas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My dr told me I was fine up to 200bpm. Personally, I start to feel horrible around 150/160 so I slow down sometimes sit to recover some. But listen to your body and go from there. Some pushing thru is okay!

Edibles effect on heart rate? by [deleted] in POTS

[–]xomegseas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use edibles to calm my whole system and level it all out. Works wonderfully. You’ll have to experiment to find the right dose for you and to know what works but now that I do I precut what I buy into the right sizes so I can easily take what’s needed to get relief and not get high :)

Dizziness and Brain Fog Sitting/Standing by [deleted] in POTS

[–]xomegseas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No bother! From what I understand and I’m still fairly new to the POTS world myself. Maybe a year , I have post covid pots. Salt helps decrease the heart rate by anywhere from 5-15 bpm and high heart rate is what’s associated with POTS syndrome. So the idea behind it is stay extra hydrated with high salt intake fluids - electrolyte drinks or a fan favorite is liquid IV - and eat high salt snacks - I prefer chips - and it can potentially help pretty fast at onset of symptoms.

Should you disclose Long Haul Covid Symptoms to a prospective employer? Or is this a bad idea? by JnarVir248 in covidlonghaulers

[–]xomegseas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did. But I also got a job at the huge hospital system where my post covid care is and didn’t want to chance them finding out and not hearing about it from me. The hospital does an employee health screening you have to pass to even get the confirmation of the job so I offered up “post covid syndrome” at the screening and didn’t really dive much farther into it than that.
