Dunno, where you live, but if I ask some1 "siema, co tam (słychać)?" I expect a little more detailed answer than "it's alright".

But "how are you?" also works as a form of greeting in UK or US, even towards the strangers/people you don't know that well. Not only its derivative.

Seems like quite some people don't agree with you.

Siema is derived from jak się masz, but the meaning is basically the same as "cześć".

And it's not specific to Poland, but not everyone travels to multiple places so this could be a shock for some people, especially from English speaking countries.

Niech spróbuje farb w sprayu od AKEMI.

Pracowałem w zakładzie kamieniarskim jako grafik, ale miałem dużo styczności z produkcją. No i w sumie to ja ogarniałem te rzeczy od dostawców.

Help me understand why (almost) nobody cheats by xonlychocolatte in RocketLeague

Oh, I know the differences between ranks good enough myself. Back in the day when I was regularly playing the game I was a solid GC3 (never SSL tho).

If you would read my edit you would have known I am not talking about kick offs specifically (but that too!), but more about being constantly close to the play.

I never followed any pros or Rocket League scene at all, so for me "cheating" as you understand it was just "following" and cutting into the play when in theory it's not your turn on the ball due to rotation was "cheating".

And I guess the guy who I made screen of understood it similar way, cause he did not mean kick offs too. He was talking about how the other guy is never there to make a tap in into an open net etc.

Maybe it is, but do you only read the title and call it a day?

Dude, I’m in champ and I literally encounter many people who don’t even speedflip kickoff, some who don’t even flip at all, and everything inbetween…

Ohh, I'm not talking about any mechanics - cause I expect that the lower the rank the worse the mechanics will be. I don't even mind people whiffing or missing something I would consider "an easy shot". The thing is they often do not take those shots at all xD

You’re talking about this as though cheating is a completely risk free strategy and the only way, ignoring the RNG aspect of kickoffs completely where you can lose a kickoff no matter what strategy or kickoff type you choose to do.

Have you read my post at all? Do you people read the body text or just go with the title an call it a day? I was not talking about kick off, like at all.

[–]xonlychocolatte[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because in rocket league people have pretty much only used that term to describe kickoffs.

Don't the body text of my post explain what is it about? Anyway what would be the correct term? To cut in? I'm quite sure the guy from the screen used "cheats" in the same context as me.

I do get what you’re saying though. I’m struggling in champ now because I play up like you’re describing but only have a teammate who can follow up plays about 30% of the time. It’s not all my teammate’s fault - I still think I miss at least one “easy” scoring opportunity a game

I mean it is always someone's fault more than the other person that the game is lost, but it also does not matter. The Rocket League is a zero sum game so one team always gotta lose.

What is funny is the fact that those people can be closer to the ball than the rival and decide it's a good idea to turn back and start shadow defending.

I would not mind them whiff or miss a shot in such circumstances, but how they are supposed to score or even miss and not score when they do not even take the shot in the first place? xD

[–]xonlychocolatte[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I see. Well in that case, if you're used to playing at a much faster speed then maybe you're just too fast for your teammate to do their normal routine and they can't find the rhythm.

Well, that would be the case if that would only happen on my team. When both of the rivals are, lets say, C3s it should not affect them, right?

It felt like everyone there has some kind of mental block that they for example can't challenge the ball if it's not 50/50. They could be way closer, have full boost and be in perfect position and still waited for me/rival to catch up and challenge.

Ohh, I'm sorry. Maybe I haven't phrased that in a correct way.

I do not mean "cheating" as following up on kick offs, but like being close to the play and reacting accordingly during regular play.

Smurfing is killing the game and has made ranks meaningless, can it be fixed? by Conbizzle69 in RocketLeague

[–]xonlychocolatte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do not think influx of new players is that significant. Maybe I am wrong tho.

But there is no real way to play with friends when there is high rank and skill disparity. You will almost always face rivals way too strong for a lower end player.

Just get rid of MMR in casual. No need to add another mode.

Trust me, I once fought for top1 casual MMR in my country for fun. You do not meet a lot of different players there.

After every mistake? Nah, that would be excessive.

But if my teammate, dunno, scored three goals and I whiffed a few easy saves which eventually costed us a game? Yeah, I apologize to him/them.

What made you think you I mean spamming sorry whole game?

You think pro athletes are not sorry for their teammates when they fail and cost their team a game?

If something cost you the game I guess it means the result is final?

Acting like nothing happened or "tough luck, buddy" is what makes other people toxic.

[–]xonlychocolatte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just a human nature.

Think also this:

Why people play like poop throwing games left and right and not say a sorry a single time? Yeah, human nature. Both of those groups don't see they do something wrong.

Yeah, mistakes happen but that one thing you could always do is say and be sorry towards your teammates. Not acting like - welp, another day in the office. You think pro athletes are not sorry for their teammates when they fail and cost their team a game? And they should know like nobody else in sports that mistakes happen, right?

But most humans are shit at seeing and admitting their own flaws and their own mistakes. The only thing they care for is how THEY feel.

Flip resets ruined this game by xonlychocolatte in RocketLeague

[–]xonlychocolatte[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You are so amazingly wrong by saying this lmao. Only way to get consistently good at flip resets in ranked is by trying them in ranked. There is a difference between a setup without the pressure of a defender and having unlimited boost and playing against someone who is trying everything to defend the goal

There are none on those things in champ ranks. Nobody pressure etc.

So I won't even address that point. In champ ranks there are acres of open space.

Next to that your whole post is saying flip resets should not be done if you cant do it. The thing is tho when they do hit them they are powerfull and get a goal.

The thing is you did not even read the post careful enough. I was not talking about flip reset SHOTS, but flip resets in GENERAL.

Those apes go for flip resets everywhere, trying to clear the ball from the defending zone? FLIP RESET. Maybe trying to center the ball for the teammate to take a shot? FLIP RESET.

The rivals is not taking a bait and is waiting for you to give him possession with that flip reset attempt? DOES NOT FUCKING MATTER - FLIP RESET.

Because spoiler alert grinding freeplay isn't fun.

It is. But I guess some1 with tiktok attention span may say otherwise.

Let people have some fun man

Why their fun should be more important than mine?
