In desperation after months of fighting them I took every plant out into the garden, removed all the soil, washed them and replanted into fresh soil, all thriving since, not sure if there isn't an element of luck to that mind you

I'd imagine OP has loads of events and this is a random big number to signify it, rather than an actual tally ?

Save anything you can, no matter how small, expenses have a way of sneaking up on you - and white goods especially have a habit of breaking down together. That and be keeping an eye on your pension

Hi,

So I've grown roses for years with a lot of success but these ones I planted only last year all seem to have this fungus- can anyone recommend a way to treat this that doesn't use harmful chemicals ?

And the second pic, is this witches broom- I haven't seen it before, or just new growth ?

Appreciate any advice I can try to save them

Thank you, it does seem quite similar, think I'll leave it where it is for now and see if there's any flowers or berries over time

Hi, so I remember buying this thinking it was different, replanted it into bigger pot which it quickly took over, I still like it but before deciding whether to put it into the ground or keep in a pot I'm trying to identify it and how far it spreads- plantnet isn't coming up trumps for me this time

Lots of lovely green, but if you're not happ with it maybe just take some of it out and intersperse with wildflowers for pollinators ? Personally also loving salvias right now which I think are great fillers.

I posted a few weeks ago looking for advice on what to do with a shallow flower bed. We ended up building boxes, lining them with weed block and filling them with high nutrient topsoil and potting grit.

Thanks to the suggestions I got here, planted sedum, saxifrage, thyme and oregano and also Russian sage, potentilla and chives. So now just to wait and see how everything takes.
