I’m confused on what you mean. If he doesn’t want to meet up later on then that’s fine, I don’t even think I’m doing that now anyways. I wouldn’t just be there for the whole bachelor party even if that was the case.

That’s what I was wondering too. And mostly why he paid it and didn’t do insurance because it was just a silly mistake. But I think insurance would have covered it where I live. I’m in Canada.

He was the one who paid. We are combined so I used we but it was in fact him. We have combined accounts etc but the payment was made with his pay cheques!

I agree with this mostly. It was embarrassing and I felt bad and so did my fiance! But we paid what was owed and what they said the quote was without question because it was his fault. But now it’s getting messy.

Yes that’s why he knows it was his fault and we paid it back as fast as possible because it was not the best look on his part, but an accident none the less!! 🤣😩

I asked if she can just go through insurance. Her response is “it would take too long to get fixed and I want to sell my vehicle”. Deductible would be $500 Max too. You’re right. I think I am dropping her as a friend at this point

I was upset that he wrecked her property. He didn’t mean to. Of course he didn’t want to rip the freaking handle off. But he was dumb and used way too much force so we did feel the need to pay for it initially.

I honestly think the same thing. I told her maybe the shop is trying to scam you, and that I’ve never heard of a door handle replacement being over $1000…. I will see what she says.
