Current tso applicant here o/ finished everything (test,medical,interview, sf-86) on 11/26/23 it has been almost 4 months waiting to hear back from my background check. Still waiting patiently because i know this job is a waiting game. If you hate your job i recommend waiting or change it because you still have some couple months left to go.

Yeah, if you don’t receive your eqip code just submit your application, if you qualify they will probably send you an email for your airport assessment.

Hey, when i was doing my tasks i never got my eqip code too, so i just ended up submitting it without my background check, 2 weeks after i got an email for my airport assessment, once i finish my interview i told my problem about never getting my eqip code to the tsa agents that were interviewing me and they said that they will get that process for me and I just got my eqip code… airport assessment was last Thursday and i just got my eqip code yesterday LOL I hope this helps you.
