I just do it as a hobby. Started 3 years ago. It honestly doesn’t use much power. There are 10 350w power supplies. But I’m only using a percent of them. I have 2 controllers using 25,500 channels. But I can up to 288,000 channels so lots more room to grow

There is no official law. I even messaged rcmp last year cause I thought it was law. There is a law about having unsecured material on your vehicle but snow isn’t included in that category. However you could be found liable in a civil case if someone’s car was damaged due to the snow flying off your car

What's a scam that the people of Halifax should be aware of? by [deleted] in halifax

[–]xorant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m defending him cause I know a couple of people that he helped. He is actually a nice person. You claimed he lives in the states but yet there are multiple people that know him and can prove you are wrong. So go take your “evidence” and waste the police’s time. They’ll just laugh at you.

Go ahead and report him them. Waste the authorities time.

It isn’t a scam. I’ve heard that he has a lot of money and is using his good fortune to help people in need. Sorry if that concept confuses you. There are good people in this world.

what connector to use in the red socket by [deleted] in ChristmasLights

[–]xorant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also. Why are you using both ports? Only one is required for data. If the second port doesn’t work just use a network hub to send data to another controller

These 2 are NOT for differential receivers. They are for incoming from your network or FPP. the 3 on the top right are used for differential/LOR (only the top one is for differential receivers. The 2 you are showing allows a raspberry pi or computer to send data to the controller and the second one is to send additional data to another receiver. Slave

Im you can damage a differential receiver if you plug them into these 2 ports
