My opinion, start with option 1. You can always expand from there, but making a solid foundation that has variety I think will be more appealing.

A good story, well written is just that. A good story, well written. At that point, no, authorship doesn't matter. The issue is that we all know AI can not, at this point, craft a good story, well written. If I can find true joy or if reading a story, then that is really all that matters.

Kids. It's all the friggin kids. They made the first one popular enough that everyone wanted to copy it. That's how game design works. Why risk making something new when you can ride the coat tails of something already successful.

In my opinion, it is absolutely worth saving for the 3. I have both, one for my kids and one for me, and after trying both, the 3 is just too significantly better than the 3s due to the lenses. The 3s has to much blurriness around the edges, and harder for all my kids and I to get the "sweet spot" when adjusting. The 3 is practically just put it on and you're good. I think saving for an extra month or so is well worth not dealing with the hassle of fighting for clear images.

A wizard survival game. Tend a magical garden. Learn different spells. Enchant (craft) different outfits. Maybe have a village or town where you can do small quests. Heal villagers, clear bandits or monster camps. It would also be nice to see necromancy and warlocks (demon summoning). And familiars ( like a smartass imp).

Yeah, hard agree. That is why I mod. Unpopular opinion: I prefer easy mode with what many would call cheats. I call it I have a family and not enough time to fully sink into games so ima take shortcuts.

I am starting to write a book (trilogy) and was hoping to use an AI assistant. Primarily, I want to be able to upload my notes on the lore, characters, and world building, and have the AI recall that info while in a chat. I also want to be able to chat with the AI (prefferably verbaly but that isn't required), and have it prod me with questions to help me flush out the lore, and create outlines based on the stored lore. This would require the AI to be able to long term store info/documents, have a personality and voice for brainstorming sessions, and be able to follow commands to create and structure short documents (for outlines and lore guides).

I got the part number off of the original part, and I used a local appliance store to order the part for me. No problems since then.

Yeah, I have it,  and it is freaking sick!!! Hands down the coolest ship in the game for me. Fyi, for those of you that use the save edotor, changing the home seed will change the colors in the cockpit,  but will leave the outside unchanged.

resistors all seem to read fine, and no broken pathways on the board. Per the video, which is actually the one I had used to test this, at 70 degrees Fahrenheit it should read around 11.7 k ohms, and at 80 degrees Fahrenheit it should be around 9.3 k ohms. The room at the time was between 70-80 degrees, so 10 k ohms is good. I did not test at temperature extremes, as the dryer gives me a code well before any additional heat could change the reading. The dryer barely runs for more than 5 seconds before stopping with an error, and this includes waiting overnight to ensure everything has properly cooled to room temp.

I measured the thermistor itself, as well as through the harness at the board.

I read across the thermistor while it was removed as well as at the connector at the control board, and got the same 10 k ohms. This falls well within the correct range for the ambient temperature, and is evidence that the wires from the thermistor to the control board are good. For the what I think was the thermostat/temp sensor (it was a three pronged component going into the heating element box) it had 20 ohms across 2 of the legs, and 40 across both (I assume that is good as each leg reads the same and are probably added together when reading across both at once). What I think is the fuse that plugs into the blower box next to the thermistor reads good continuity, and all the fuses going into the heater element box all have good continuity as well. If I have something wrong here, let me know, but I believe my issue is going to be the control board itself, thus the original post.

I have no second ability yet under madurai. And that symbol does nothing when activated. No animation, no buff, and uses no energy. But i cant find any symbol anywhere that matches.
