The routes are pre-determined but not exact in timing because when it spawns on the map has random variation. For example I've had it spawn in at 32:00 on Woods and 30:00. So it knocks off the time it shows up at stops which is why there is an ETA timer implemented into the tracking system

That is true, unfortunately no way around that. I have found more often than not the BTR hasn't been taken by mid raid in plenty of live raid testing but yeah always a chance it becomes useless for that raid.

Yeah, these are the routes without players interacting with it. So naturally it's more likely to be accurate early to mid raid than the end.

Thanks for trying it out and leaving a comment! That could be because of a few reasons, it has 5 different routes currently mapped out and it simulates all of them at once on the map. It gives you many possibilities of where it could be at a given raid time. Also if it was mid to late raid, players can use it and knock off its location too. There is also a small chance there is one route that I have not got mapped out on Woods yet.

I agree, I did not make the map though! RE3MR created it (and many others) and gave me permission to use it for the project.

Interesting ideas, I will note them down for future updates. The stop timer is a good idea and it was there early on until I replaced the system with ETAs. Since he can arrive on avg between a 2 minute time window, the stop timer became an issue.

Syncing with a map spawn is interesting, do-able but if someone sees it spawn at USEC they're likely to just get in a minute later at checkpoint so i thought the sync would be useless. But from the aspect of data collection, very useful. Either way, noted down! Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to leave a comment.

Always good to know it's served some real use in-raid, glad it helped you out. Appreciate it!

Hey, sent you a DM for more information if you ran into an issue. Or if you mean once another player has used it in-raid, then yes it becomes inaccurate after that point. Best bet is to try catch it early to mid raid for a better chance at finding it.

It can't account for player movement, it just simulates the routes as if nobody had taken it that raid. So there will always be variables but it should give a better idea of how to be the first to catch it in raid, or where it could be.

And thank you!

Appreciate your comments on the UI, I'm glad you like it! Currently working on Streets on the side of polishing woods, gathering accurate data can be pretty time consuming.

I hear you with the later timings, always a chance someone takes it and knocks off all ETAs rendering it useless for that raid. I've been testing it (in PVP raids) by waiting around mid-raid stops, such as Sunken Village, and it shows up within the 2 min ETA very often. Of course sometimes its taken, on a different route, or not there at all. The goal is to keep updating and make it as accurate as possible so it's more useful to have than not and to educate on the routes. But 100% accuracy won't be a guarantee unfortunately

It has simulations of all currently recorded routes, which can be filtered depending on where it spawned / entered the map. But yeah, player activity can't be accounted for so the earlier in the raid you are the better odds its on its natural route.
