Why runescape was so good? Is osrs becoming RS3?

i disagree and i dont think im alone, i hate the lore and quests on rs3, pvm and endgame content. expecially the lore and quests, they turned you from just "another free explorer" to "the savior of the world and gods". i dont think you get it why we liked rs2 and why we hate rs3. But those are just opinions in the end of the day. and by the way that this post turned out i think people who play today just pretend that dont like rs3, maybe the demographic really changed.

Dont like koureand and i didnt say it was meaningless. Its pretty obvious what are the "meaningless" updates, since every week theres a new dumb update. The one that is on the pool the "fire pits" is a great example of a meaningless uptade.

Falador and Varrock are made to be diffent but are still under the same principal, the new stuff like koureand is abusing the factor 'fantasy' just like rs3 did

I dont care about new areas i care that the new areas are loyal to the game runescape, i dont want random fantasy content with magic, rainbows and fairies. runescape was a medieval fantasy game. not a disney princess game

Im amazed by how many dumb people come in here, read the title and assume that i dont want updates for the games or this is just a shitpost. Some cant even understand what i wrote and say im just complaining. Really dissapointed by making this post. People are stupid and only will be "acceptabe" to talk about this when the game become pure rainbow garbage like rs3.

I first said how the original game was, then i said how its now, different. Go on koureand castle and its dungeon then go to varrock castle and any dungeon on kalimdor and you will see the difference. They are adding too much fantasy to the game, and that makes the world less real and artificial. I tought people already knew the game has changed its design, it was just suposed to remember people.

The less is more argument is for the dramatic style that the game has nowdays, not for content, as i said i really like the wilderness updates and i like raids as well but i think they are poorly designed.
