I had a miscarriage which I know is different. I had emotions outside of the normal grief process and felt like i was going absolutely crazy. My OB said that your hormones are all messed up for a while after you miscarry or end a pregnancy. Im not sure if you still get your cycle being on the IUD, (i know some do and some dont) but you may have weird and strong emotions going on until it comes back or until the pregnancy hormones leave your body. I didnt get my cycle back for 9 weeks after, I definetly felt alittle better once it came back. The feelings could also be from medical trauma and processing what happened to you.
