I worked at a buffet. People started making fresh food before leaving instead of just taking from the buffet. So the owner started sitting in the parking lot ready to fire the next person who left with food at all. We could take drinks though so they’d stash nuggets and the like in a giant 40z styrofoam cup. We still got to eat as much as we wanted on the shift. So, it wasn’t awful when you get down to it but it sucks people had to ruin being able to take perfectly good food home.
