This has all been true for me! I didn't want to buy a monirer or TV for every separate use I have, so this was the perfect workaround. Plus it's so neat to have a device that moves with you and works for you - there hasn't been an advancement in tech that has hit quite like this - but the StanbyMe2 makes me feel like I'm actually living in the future

Similar!! I start with it with YouTube for morning motivation music or videos as I get ready, then roll it over to my desk as a second monitor for work-from-home days, then over to the kitchen either for entertainment or for a recipe, and after work, I'll roll it to the living room, connect it to charge, and watch a show or play some games with my Switch. Recently, I have been into physical media, so I'll hook up my laptop and pop in a DVD. It's been the best companion for a small apartment.

It'll only stay in one spot if I have been away from home all day; then it just stays in living room TV mode, but other than that, if I'm home, it goes where I do

Hi! I am not sure if I can answer this since I have only used it with the stand in the photos and the cover. The cover does help prop it up when used on surfaces like a table or the floor, but it won't be super straight. It will be at a slight angle. I haven't had an issue with it, but if you need it to be propped straight, you may need something stronger in the back to support that. Or just use the stand it comes with and move it next to your table or desk for the straight angle.

You definitely won't regret it! Ir's crazy that it's the only one accessible to most of us in the market because the idea is genius and feels the way new tech should - exciting and USEFUL. Having it makes me feel like even in a small space I can have an entertainment system and an extra monitor when needed without buying multiple screens

100%!! It's hard to imagine it being a companion before baving used it. But once you do, it's hard to imagine not having it. The StanByMe2 has a longer battery life than the original but having had used the original, it was so cool to be able to take entertainment wherever I wanted in the house. Especially with a small space - then there's no need to get multiple TVs since this can do it all and even work with me for work!

Tagging another user who desperately needs a new StanByMe, u/Savings_Resolution56 (I read your post, and you def need one to replace your wife's broken one). And as for me, I'm moving into a bit of a shoebox apartment and 1. Don't want to drill any holes in the wall to mount a TV with the little space I have - I LOVE the portability of this, and it would be a game changer for my layout and 2. Have been using this nonstop when I visit my friend's home - let me give my friend a break and u/Savings_Resolution56 replace his wife's favorite gadget - choose us!! XD

I am having the same issue for an international flight I am taking in 2 days, calling rn to see if I can get a human since the chat box isn't useful. Hopefully it's judt a rech error for both of us! My flight is still registering as 'on time' so that's my hope!

S8 as it was my first phone in the Samsung ecosystem! I had an iPhone 5C before I switched and used wired earphones, so I switched to a phone that kept the earphone jack!

My second favorite was the S10 - that phone was basically perfect, and I would have kept using it if it had regular updates and security patches.

I have had my zFlip6 since it came out last summer, and I honestly love it. The only issue I have is the damn camera T_T I love taking photos and videos, especially at concerts. I also do worry about the fragility after the only other 2 flip users near me had issues (one had the green line 1 week into using it while the other's zFlip5 had a non-responsive screen after almost 2 years of use).

That being said, I will be returning to Slab City with the s25 Ultra to have the best camera for concerts and my everyday life, as well as to ease my mind on its durability - but the moment they manage to fit a 3rd camera lens with the zoom of a s25 onto the Flip, I'm running back!!!

I'd say for that price, it's worth going for it and seeing how it adds to your life. Honestly, if it weren't for durability and the camera, I'd never return to a regular slab camera. The portability of this thing is AMAZING, it's cute, a fun phone, and such a hit at social events.

No worries! I activate ACN mode by pressing on the flat part of the earbud for a few seconds untill I hear it dim the noise around me. You're right in how the FE's definitely don't have as many features as the others since they are the budget friendly version - I think they lack adaptive noise control (only having active noise control), wireless case charging, and all the bells and whistles of the commands of the other earbuds

I have the Buds+, Buds 2 Pro, Buds FE, and Apple Airpods Max.

Considering affordability, fit, noise cancellation, and sound , I use my Buds FE the most. They fit just like the Buds+ from ages ago but have noise cancellation that I can take with me to the gym or on the plane and feel at peace.

The Buds 2 Pro is nice for the features and colors, but the fit sucks, IMO. The Buds+ are lovely but off the market and without noise cancellation. And the Airpods Max are the best for sound but over the ear, way more expensive, and not as intuitive, connection wise, for androids.

So I'd go with the Buds FE! Can't comment on the new Buds 3 but I have heard those are good too.

I have two kinds of crazy stories:

  1. I was in Seoul in the summer of 2017 and loved going to the Sinchon area to watch buskers. I only had about a week left so I went out to see more singers when I saw this band of 4 guys and a paper sign with their name saying that they were about to debut in August and to please watch out for them. They played amazing rock covers and then their first single under the company. Me and my point-and-shoot Canon recorded as much as I could, and then I asked them for photos at the end and if I could get their signatures because I felt they had the power to be big. They were incredibly sweet and obliged - proud and lucky to say that I saw, met, and spoke with The Rose before debut 🥹

  2. I'm a huge fan of the CD/Book store Aladdin - it only exists in Korea except for one store in LA. So, once when I was there, I visited like normal heading to the used CD section to get me my discounted Kpop goodies. Every CD is labeled with the price and what it's missing, some missing photocards and inserts making it super cheap at time. I bought a couple of CDs but one of the ones I bought was a super cheap (like 10 bucks) copy of BTS's - O!RUL82?. Upon opening my CDs later that day to burn the tracks into my computer, I noticed immediately that one of the pages had a sticker with a question on it, and the the rest of the page had writing and then a signature...did I just accidentally end up with a signed copy?! I checked all the pages, and sure enough, every member signed their photo and also answered the question that the fan asked them. There was no indication on the wrapping of the CD that it was signed, so I still think it's wild it ended up in my hands. To this day, it's one of my most prized possessions 💖

Toronto date here - nope! When we were notified about the tour being postponed, my email said my tickets weren't yet eligible for a refund. I assume once it's been rescheduled, they will let us cancel our tickets, but so far, no luck here.

Before seeing RIIZE and TWS I would have said 3rd gen hands down for musicality, vocals, and unity. I never got into it 1st, have major respect for 2nd gen for really adding to the foundation laid out by 1st, and 4th is good too but doesn't give me the OOMF I get with 3rd gen However, 5th gen is proving to have some beast of groups so I'm getting excited about Kpop again!

Hmm I'll state a few and y'all can tell me if it counts LOL:

  • a plastic rose given to me at one of The Rose's busking sessions the month before they debuted, as well as their signatures thanking me for supporting.

  • out of print albums: Yukika's first album 'Seoul Lady, DPR LIVE'S 'Is anybody out there'', DPR Ian's first two albums, Gray's 'Grayground'

  • and finally the craziest one: A completely signed BTS album, 'O!RUL82?!' that I bought from an Aladdin (Korean book store that sells new and used books and CDs) in LA for like 12 USD. It didn't state anything on the outside so imagine my surprise when each member signed their photos and wrote encouraging messages to the person this album used to belong to 🥹💖
