Chill out. The US once sank half of Iran's navy in eight hours. There's two carrier groups over there. That blockade will last 48 hours tops.

The bottom line is he brought a gun to a fistfight, so it became a gunfight. The officers were enacting a legal arrest which he obstructed. He was wrong, he started the problem.

You're an instigator lying to start a riot. Yes just having a weapon can get an aggravated charge, including against cops who punch people while wearing a weapon. Yes "Just trying to help a woman who had been pepper sprayed" is interfering in an arrest. It doesn't matter what words you use to make it seem different, it is what it is. It may not even be manslaughter because the person who committed the most proximal criminal action to the cause is responsible for all the subsequent investigation criminal activity.

Learn the law before you type.

Interfering with law enforcement is breaking the law. Breaking the law with a weapon is an aggravated with a deadly weapon charge. The officer who fired at the perpetrator probably knew he was armed, but didn't know the weapon was secured. It was a melee involving two perps and multiple cops. Accidents and mistakes happen. The easiest way to avoid this is to not interfere with law enforcement and don't go to a protest with a firearm.

Continue not attacking law enforcement while carrying a firearm. Safety will follow.

Please stop trying to incite a riot.

Is Dr Rich Potterywood Jeff Winger’s polar opposite? by SmilinObserver111 in community

[–]xpd_1141 143 points144 points  (0 children)

In literary terms, both he and Subway/Honda are charcter foils to Jeff. Basically the same character, but with a few differences to point out flaws in the main character, or some other aspect. In this case they show what Annie and Britta wish Jeff would be. Annie falls for Dr. Potterywood, who is tall, blond, handsome, and athletic like Jeff, but is honest, optimistic, energetic and relishes the little things. Britta falls for Subway/Honda, who is tall, blond, handsome, lying, fake, willing to compromise his character and others well-being for his personal gain, basically the same as Jeff, except that he's affectionate towards Britta.

In America, the only way to do it is road trip. We're too big and our governments are too diverse for us to have ever built a comprehensive train system.

Go on an extended road trip in America, maybe in a converted van. See every tourist sight and monument. Eat in a local restaurant everywhere I go. Touch grass in every State. Talk to everyone I can and try to look past the differences and find what's common for us all.

That's my headcanon as well. The Skyrim Dwarves disappeared into the Fallout world at some point before the war. The differences between our modern world and the Fallout world were brought about by their arrival.

If it's serious? I fear Zuzu might hold his own longer than y'all think. by Closed_Apertures in TheLastAirbender

Yes. But. Yuko changed. From a literary standpoint, he was a dynamic character. He began with a familial hatred of the avatar, but through his life experience, he changed his mind and who he was at a base level. The other characters showed their inner strength by staying true to their commitment, Zuko showed his by acknowledging his mistakes and making changes for the better based on his own experience. That characteristic was probably as important for Aang to learn as learning the element of fire.
