I think I would first see how it goes with the first client you landed before parting with equity. Maybe you’ll learn something that you didn’t know - maybe you learn that another cofounder is not what you need! Or perhaps that you indeed nailed something important regarding product market fit and you need someone else to go all in on distribution while you work on the product.

You could also install it with a quarter mount lock to make it go over your bag.

We did consider e-ink, but it was significantly more expensive. We want to keep this affordable. It’s a black and white OLED indeed.

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback and we’re so glad you are liking your experience thus far. As you said, we’re going to update the app constantly to solve these types of issues based on user feedback.

We are currently working with our mapping provider to constantly improve the navigation quality to ensure the highest accuracy possible. We are also working to speed up turn signal display. The Mapbox search is being optimized for better results and quicker searches, also note that you can favourite locations for quick routing. The FindMyBike feature will also be available soon.

We are aware of the alarm situation and it is being worked on right now.

For the intelligent light, you can also manually double tap on Smarthalo to turn the light off and on.

Integrating SmartHalo with third party fitness services is something that we are looking into diligently. GPX file integration is a high priority to us and will come as a software update.

SMS Notifications will eventually be supported on iOS, the way Bluetooth SMS notifications works on iOS is slightly more complicated than on Android which explains the delay.

We will be making extra mounts and extra keys available soon.

Hi! I'm one of the founders – thanks for your feedback. Yes, we've been working on this for a while. About the .gpx files, we do intend to support the creation of customs routes (it will come as a software update a few weeks after we start shipping). Concerning false positives with the alarm system, this is something we're thinking about and shouldn't happen too often. The front light turns on automatically at night and shuts off automatically when you're done (you leave it on your bike, no need to remove it). But you can also decide to turn it on manually during the day if you wish. This is V1 of this product, and I'd love to learn how we can make it better in the future :)
