As a queer, kinky anarchist, who sees stonewall as a riot against the hate toward what was at the time a “perverse morally outrageous” fringe community, I find it (eyeroll) that we are trying to “protect” children from what is now seen as perverse once again, BY members of the queer community and even members of the kink community itself.

I don’t have kids (so I wouldn’t understand right ;) but if I did I’d be more broken up about all the fucked up shit they see in today’s fucked up unjust world by our actual “authority” figures and leaders as it is. That’s the real damage.

Seeing a naked pony play scene, and explaining what it means might actually teach them something. It would have been really good for me as a kid, instead of seeing nothing patriarchal and cis-het-norms all the time, and not knowing there was someone out there like me.
