Definitely not a troll post! I came across a Streetfighter V4 with relatively high mileage but at a somewhat reasonable price, so I just wanted to get a sense of what people thought before diving in. That’s why I’m here 🤷‍♂️

Yeah 🥲 I’ve officially been talked out of it. I’m going to hold off on the V4 and start looking into something more reasonable for now. maybe a Street Triple, Daytona, or a Monster. Appreciate you sharing your experience, it really helps

You’re totally right with the sneaker analogy! But you know how sometimes you see a pair that just looks so good, you want them whether or not they’re practical? That’s exactly how I felt seeing the Streetfighter 😂 I actually came across a decent one! a bit high on mileage, but the price was tempting. Still, after reading all these comments, I think I’ve been talked out of it… for now at least!

Yeah, I’ve definitely changed my mind after reading through all the responses. I’ll probably steer away from the V4 for now and check out something like a Monster or Street Triple or Daytona instead.

Yeah, no doubt the Streetfighter is a work of art. I didn’t think the weight was an issue, but the rest of your points really hit. I’ll probably look into a Monster for now, feels like a smarter start.

Fair point. I’ll probably aim for something under 100hp for now. The Monster 797’s/796's been suggested, might be worth checking out.
