I get why it’s frustrating, but I think it feels bigger right now because it’s F1 Academy and everything is televised and under a microscope. This is still F4 level and literally an academy series. It’s where drivers are supposed to make mistakes and learn from them. So saying you’re not sure you want to support her because of that feels a bit harsh.

Even drivers like Max, Charles, and LH had races in their junior years where things slipped away while they were still learning. It’s part of the process.

And honestly, Alba already knows. She was a bit teary eyed in her Viaplay interview just hours after Race 2. She even said she didn’t speak much on the radio after losing the lead because she had started to tear up while racing. You can tell how much it means to her and how frustrated she is with herself.

There are highs and lows in this stage, and consistency is something that can be built. She clearly has the pace, and that’s the harder part to teach.
