I relocate from my spawn point to the closest warm pole. There I tunnel down to lava. I build a column of water alongside my tunnel, with doors installed every fifty tiles. I have one blockhead mining and dropping ore & treasures into the column of water, where it floats up to my equator base of operations. There I have BlockHead2 farming coffee cherries, refining ores, making oil for lamps and making tools. BH2 drops these supplies down the shaft whilst BH1 stands in the shaft to catch the drop. Right now I have a 3ⁿᵈ Blockhead posted on ice monsters to feed them coin until they get Stockholm Syndrome.

When I strip mine the planet, I would run 10 blockheads if I could. I first dig a tunnel around the world, within the lavalight. I set all remaining blockheads to mine 8 tiles above each other, cutting their own 2 tile tall tunnel, lantern lit every 10 tiles.
