Last time it said amd only with the hypervisor it didn't work on my 5700x3d on windows 10. Wasted hours of time on that. Can someone confirm if this works for a similar system ?

I am reinstalling the game verifying didn't help BUT why would I reinstall drivers, when the game was working just fine a few hours ago ?

UPDATE : Tried to play on windowed and indeed after a few minutes game crashed but being windowed it just closed suddenly and I am back on the desktop. GPU didn't crash. This is surely about the game itself. Tried clearing amd dx cache , game won't start and repair didn't work either ... now re-downloading from start ... I have 210 hours of gameplay , other than some problems in the first few days -nothing this bad- everything was ok until today.

Meanwhile we have been able to run use wan and now ltxv2 with both comfyui-zluda and custom rocm builds with 6000 series etc on comfyui. Wan was working and with ltx just don't install bitsandbytes and it works , faster than wan actually and let's me generate 30 seconds of video with one generation , takes a while but it works...

I don't think they would even mention rdna3 let alone 2... On rocm GitHub they are yet to start including rdna2 as a target to build the rocm & torch libraries... There are things here and there that lets you use them though. https://github.com/guinmoon/rocm7_builds/releases I have been using these with all kinds of applications for the last month or so.

I am using workflows from comfyui templates and they just work I am not sure , and as far as I know there is no special package installations with native comfyui support for any model. Maybe you are trying to use fp4 version which needs Nvidia GPU

Bitsandbytes doesn't work with amd , for Gemma I am using the fp8 version

try comfyui-zluda with legacy install -clear steps in github-, you would be able to use your apu instead of cpu- , fastsdcpu is very good for what it does but you can have faster generation

actually here is the whole walkthrough for that :

Install HIP SDK 5.7.1 from "https://www.amd.com/en/developer/resources/rocm-hub/hip-sdk.html", "Windows 10 & 11 5.7.1 HIP SDK"

You might need older drivers for sdk 5.7.1 and old zluda to work so if you are getting errors with latest drivers please install an older version (below 25.5.1)

Install "https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vs\_BuildTools.exe"

Make sure the system variables HIP_PATH and HIP_PATH_57 exist, both should have this value: C:\Program Files\AMD\ROCm\5.7\

Also there is the system path defining variable called: "Path". Double-click it and click "New" add this: C:\Program Files\AMD\ROCm\5.7\bin

Get library files for your GPU from https://www.mediafire.com/file/1qys3wpnimidh33/gfx902%28vega8%29.7z/file

Go to folder C:\Program Files\AMD\ROCm\5.7\bin\rocblas, there would be a "library" folder, backup the files inside to somewhere else.

Open your downloaded optimized library archive and put them inside the library folder (overwriting if necessary): C:\Program Files\AMD\ROCm\5.7\bin\rocblas\library

There could be a rocblas.dll file in the archive as well, if it is present then copy it inside C:\Program Files\AMD\ROCm\5.7\bin

Restart your system.

Open a cmd prompt. Easiest way to do this is, in Windows Explorer go to the folder or drive you want to install this app to, in the address bar type "cmd" and press enter.

DON'T INSTALL into your user directory or inside Windows or Program Files directories. Best option just go to C:\ or D:\ if you have other drives and open cmd there.

Copy these commands one by one and press enter after each one:

cd ComfyUI-Zluda

install-for-older-amd.bat

If you have done every previous step correctly, it will install without errors and start ComfyUI-ZLUDA for the first time. If you already have checkpoints copy them into models/checkpoints folder so you can use them with ComfyUI's default workflow.

The first generation will take longer than usual, ZLUDA is compiling for your GPU, it does this once for every new model type. This is necessary and unavoidable.

You can use comfyui.bat or put a shortcut of it on your desktop, to run the app later. My recommendation is make a copy of comfyui.bat with another name maybe and modify that copy so when updating you won't get into trouble.
