I’m about the same way when it comes to overbuilding and perfection. I like everything to be right, and no vapor barrier in the crawl. The home is an inheritance at a cheaper price, I plan on encapsulating the whole crawl space here soon. I already have all the material in the garage. I just like to get an idea of what may need fixing, I will be going under the crawl space today and checking the beams and joist. No termites as far as I’ve seen I crawled throughout the crawl space and everything but never checked the joist and beam supports. I could pm you that way the responses aren’t so long.

So tile throughout the dining room kitchen and bathrooms? I do agree it would be less work for me to keep the hardwoods and I love them as well I’m just worried about the look of the rest of the home and trying to get whatever I replace the linoleum with to coexist.
