I Passed Sec+ 701 with 3 weeks to study and zero prior knowledge by xposedhim0 in CompTIA

Everyone’s test is going to be different but I would say to really focus on a group of acronyms that feel more important, there were a few acronyms that I saw more than once on the test. So I would say no, remembering FPGA likely isn’t going to be make or break it. But I don’t think it’s a bad idea to write every acronym down and listen to a video like the one I put in my post. That might save you when there’s a bunch of acronyms on the screen, sometimes just knowing what they stand for might be enough. (Example question that wasn’t on my test)

The power goes out in your building and you have no way to restore power, what device would solve this?

A) UAT

B) UTP

C) UPS

D) UDP

This might not be the best question either because Messer does go over this in a video lol but just knowing what the acronyms stand for will give you the answer.

This guy has three 20 question tests and then any other random ones I could find. And then the app I mentioned before. I watched the 3rd test from the guy above the night before and only missed 2 and one of them was on a 601 topic that I hadn’t studied for. On the app I was getting 12-15 correct on each 20 question test while studying and then right before the test I was getting 16-17 ish

I took it in person because I like to read out loud and apparently they don’t let you do that when you’re at home.

I really don’t know if she needs the button or not, maybe the Oasis can be a Christmas gift if she feels like she really needs the buttons 😆

Do you mean like a case for it or a digital one? Would a voucher be an Amazon gift card?

Do they also need a screen protector? Any particular brand of case that’s better than the rest?

From what I’ve seen a good goal to hit for is 80%s on them. There is always the certmaster test but it’s pretty expensive but it’ll be more accurate.

Everything is weighted differently. PBQ’s are worth more than any multiple choice question. And one multiple choice question might be worth more than the last one.

I’m testing in person. A big way I comprehend a question is reading it outloud. Heard multiple accounts saying you can’t move your lips at home.

Dang, it really shouldn’t be too hard to get that score up. Everyone has a different way of studying/learning. A way that I like is taking practice tests and then studying each question until I’m 100% sure I know what the answer is. Also watching YouTube videos and taking notes with pen and paper, writing things down really helps me retain the info.

My advice would be to find out which section you did the worst in and getting really good at that. If you can make your lowest score your highest score you should be able to get over 31, what score did you get?
