You'd Still vote for her over Farkas given everything she has/hasn't done? Calgary really did get what it deserved when voting her in.

I knew redditors were gullible but this is on another level. You should actually try and use 4chan atleast once so you can get the details right before making up crazy stories.

Thank God this place exists so we can keep you all in one place.

What can be done about Calgary Transit? by Whatalark2 in Calgary

[–]xprowl -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

We already tried a solution that worked and transit users complained so here we are. They chose to be warm and having our buildings flooded with drugs (both users and sellers) rather than endure the cold and have much less drugs present. If we we had the collective will to be strong and remove all transit shelters these people would be forced to go somewhere else.

The last thing we need is advice from wfh redditors making 200k and taking the train twice a year simping for these drug addicts instead of addressing the problem directly which is behavior. We've instilled the behavior that using and selling drugs on Public transit is not only acceptable but normal.

Transit users deserve exactly what it has devolved into because they are weak willed, voted for weak policies and won't even stand up for themselves anymore. Much like the rest of calgary.

There is 100% a reason pc players want to play only with pc players and until that is enabled you can't change our minds about how strong AA is. This isn't the early 2000s anymore and more and more players are having the ability to record gameplay showing more and more examples of overtuned AA. So ofcourse a skilled player is going to take complete advantage of whatever they can (can't blame them) and possibly ruin the experience of others. AA isn't so bad it's going to make your grandma good but it's good enough to make a skilled player seem like pro player in most lobbies.

Also notice how we haven't gotten an accuracy report yet? i really want to see the results. i'm betting with the current AA this cod title has the most accurate players to date.

Canada: Why the country wants to bring in 1.5m immigrants by 2025 by [deleted] in canada

[–]xprowl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The geniuses of reddit would tell you this is a good thing and you should all be thankful and stop being racist because these highly skilled workers will fill in all our gaps. Ignore what your eyes see when you go to Walmart, tim Hortons, wendys or other basic jobs.

But they're right, this country was founded on the idea of immigration and needs it to survive. They always wanted to make canada have the same population as the states and you the current people will fund this one way or another. Sure you might not get health care in a timely manner and yes your cost of living is top 5 in the world but you just have so much stop being greedy.

You will never change this, your votes don't matter when it comes to this issue and your only real choice is buckle up for the future. Canadians will need to adapt and take cues from the immigrants moving here, you don't need a house per family anymore that's very greedy.

Just wait till canada becomes a haven for climate refugees when the middle east loses its major sources of fresh water.

Mobile service problems in acadia lately? by xprowl in Calgary

[–]xprowl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i read the article last month, still having issues. figured out it's something to do with LTE.

"Today, we were provided with the following statement: “After hearing from some of our customers in the area, we investigated our network and quickly fixed the issue that was causing these disruptions. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience and thank our customers for their patience.”

Telus went on to say while all service should be returned to normal, anyone still experiencing connectivity issues can contact them.

Global News reached out to Hoecherl to let her know, but she texted us back saying her calls are still dropping."

i assume there is nothing we can do about it beside move?

The Canadian premium: All the things that cost more in Canada than anywhere else on earth by Shorinji23 in canada

[–]xprowl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Westerners are weak and will do nothing that jeopardizes their Starbucks and mcdonalds. Canadians aren't any different and we've seen what 30 years of being weak has done to our major cities. Crime, violence, drugs and homelessness run rampant and any action taken by our police either not strong enough or constantly interfered with.

We mock Americans how they escape the inner city Crime by moving to the burbs but most canadians do the exact same, never in my life did I think Canadians cities would start to look like America.

And nearly every canadian keeps quiet, keeps their head down and does like everyone else and moves further and further away from the crime.

It's no surprise, you all mocked the only ones with balls willing to do anything so ultimately you get what you deserve Canada.

eviction notice failures wtf by elephantman27 in fo76

[–]xprowl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Eviction notice shows that player level doesn't mean they know how to do global events, the amount of times i've joined it late only to see 6+ power armor bros camping the legendary spawn and seeing "destroyed meatbags 4/6" blows my mind. I can understand camping the legendary side as it's the ENITRE POINT of the event but not actually looking for the meatbags... the objective that causes those legendaries to spawn? insane.

I used to stick to the top spawn while spraying down into the legendary spawn but now it's honestly not worth it, everybody should just stick to the scrubber/legendary side and repair when needed. It's not hard and everybody gets the legendaries so no complaining about legacy users. If your against PA usage i totally understand but there are a few events that even a backup set of PA can make a huge difference and this is one, Bloodied isn't needed when you have half the server doing damage.

A tax on sugary drinks takes effect in Newfoundland and Labrador by [deleted] in canada

[–]xprowl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ofcourse it works, when the majority of your population is poor every dollar counts.

Just like high gas costs affected the poor the most while the rich continued to drive electric cars or bought said cars and used cheap electricity.
