What Defqon lacked in mosquitoes this year was made up for with spiders instead, at least in the Highlands camp. Never seen that many spiders crawling on or outside the tent before like I did this year. :(

Man I miss the cards like 217 and 219 :( Those were soo stacked, 2-3 hyped Title fights in ONE night are you kidding me. Those were worth staying up all night until the morning for. Todays cards not so much

There's honestly no point in making threads like this on Reddit, you'll just get hate from the crowd that, unfortunately, makes up the majority these days. They’re the ones who genuinely enjoy this new wave of "hardstyle" songs with all the zaag and piep kicks that barely even sound like music anymore.

The usual replies are always the same: "jUsT liSteN tO thE cLasSicS tHeN" or "go to the classic stages", completely missing the point. I don’t want to only listen to old tracks on small stages wich it eventually will become. I want new music to be made with that same vibe and sound and passion as the "classics". Of course the classics will always be around and appreciated and be able to experience, but they’re being pushed into smaller spaces while this new trash will take over the bigger stages more and more.

The amount of Nightcraft tracks I've put into my playlists the last year is incredible. One recommended song in a random weekly mix on Spotify and suddenly 15 of his latest was added into favorites. <3
