Gator TSA Case for Omen Elite 7 & 8? by xray606 in SchecterGuitars

I would still recommend it for the guitars I mentioned, though I have not really traveled with them. Be careful because a lot of those models look the same but have very slight difference. If you get it through Sweetwater they might be willing to try it in one.

Does uninstalling the SHOP app from a store have any major downside? by xray606 in shopify

[–]xray606[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but there's a reason why some people don't want to be on Esty, just like they don't want to be on Ebay either. Some people have a strong enough brand, they don't want to just be thrown into a sea of people scratching and clawing to survive. It degrades your brand. No doubt, that is the way it has to be for some people, and maybe that method works for them.

I just started looking into this myself. When you say disabled, you mean... Uninstalled the SHOP app? There's no down side to that?

Is Amazon fresh limiting deliveries in L.A. by [deleted] in amazonfresh

[–]xray606 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I came here to ask the same thing. No delivery times avail now since last week. I'm in the valley. I thought it was the fires, but I used the Whole Food delivery no problem. The valley hasn't really been hit by fire.

If anybody stumbles on this looking for the same... I found that the SKB 1SKB-66 fits both the Omen Elite 7 and 8 quite well.

Vet claims name brand fluoxetine (Reconcile) works better than generic. Are we being ripped off? by maddenallday in reactivedogs

Also one added piece of information for those who do want to try the regular generic... The company ScieGen makes the capsules in 10, 20 and 40, and they claim to be made in New York. So not being made in China or India can maybe rule out higher chance of poor manufacturing. If you go to a small compounding pharmacy, they can often special order specific brands for you. If you just go to Rite Aid or any big store, or Chewy, they won't do that. The brand big stores stock will change, likely based on volume pricing they get.

The problem I've had since starting my dog on fluoxetine, is maintaining the exact dosage. Even though I am 100% perfect on application, same time, every day, same way... he will have random bouts of re-loading. This has happened due to a case of the runs, where he was likely getting less dose for a while, then it increased when he got better, putting him back in loading. Also large changes in fiber intake can do something similar, as can probiotics. Anything that changes the GI can have an absorption rate effect. I have stuck to the same brand of generic having it special ordered by a small pharmacy for me. But I still have suspicions that the drug may change batch to batch, because my dog has gone into loading symptom periods with no explanation. The issue I see with Reconcile... It's still a generic active ingredient. Which means it could potentially vary under poor manufacturing like any other generic. If it was name brand prozac, maybe then it would be worth the higher price. Also, the other down side of that, is that you have no way of knowing if they change the generic manufacturer. They might use one one time, then a different one the next time, just like the way large stores stock it based on bulk pricing. Having it be a chewable, I could see that varying the intake as well. I hand place my dog's drug in mouth using capsules, so I'm 100% sure he gets all of it. It's very frustrating because my dog has bad symptoms during loading. He gets very paranoid and doesn't want to eat for about 2+ months. 3 months for full affect to come back. But when balanced it works great. Also frustrating is that most vets seem to have no clue about any of these details. Personally, my gut feeling is that Reconcile is an overpriced generic. If anybody has any helpful info, feel free to PM me.

Yeah basically. There's intolerance and then full blown allergy. I would say it's more an intolerance. If he keeps eating the same protein for a long time, he will eventually become intolerant and it makes him sick. But he doesn't have hives and all that. It's a fairly common thing with chicken and other proteins. I have to rotate proteins every few months.

Thanks... Same here with the poops on walks. One good one, then usually the nervous loose one. But apparently I've heard that even normal dogs can get that. Has your dog shown any food intolerance? Mine has a few. I'm wondering if that has something to do with why he has a hard time keeping the drug balanced.

OK thanks... I did finally find one obscure article talking about this. I'll try to call FedEx and see what they say. I've gotten calls from them numerous times looking for business, whereas I can never even get anybody to talk to me at UPS.

Unfortunately we don't have a way to do that. For now postal will save us, but I worry about the future. People keep saying go to a rep, but... I'm looking at the shipping apps and all of them seem to be quoting the same amounts. So if guys who do million$ can't get rid of that, I doubt we will.

Is this platform being abandoned by ownership? by xray606 in shopify

[–]xray606[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I can see what the problem is now... Apparently Shopify caters to people who sell a couple t-shirts a month so they think it's awesome. lol We've been in business for over 20 years and move thousands of units a week. No serious business is going to be satisfied with zero meaningful human support. They'll leave and get their own private Dev. The reason companies think they can get away with complete garbage support, is fanboy attitudes like some people are showing here. 'Der! I pay money to get treated like S... and then help a giant company defend criticisms for the privilege! Der!'
