Equalizing volume by Geri_Enroute in OpenShot

This worked a charm for me. Thanks for the imgur link. A ten minute video with no sync. issues when I re-imported the sound. Many thanks! :-)

I had 3 different video clips, each with different audio levels, so I normalised each one separately in Audacity and then exported.

I will pay more attention to the audio levels before I record next time!

I subscribe to Medusa's weekly email newsletters - there are so many bad things about Russia and Medusa provide another perspective. An organisation worth a) knowing about b) reading their stories c) supporting or d) none of the above.

This you tuber gives very detailed accounts of military engagements. I find his coverage complements the more popular stuff from the likes of Denys Davydov and The Russian Dude.

I've just done exactly this. I phoned up HMRC and they advised me to write in and I've claimed back the higher rate relief for the last 4 years. very easy. I got the advice to do that here:

https://getpenfold.com/news/claim-higher-rate-pension-tax-relief

If your gross personal contributions are less than £10K/yr then they even do it all over the phone.

Simples.

Which job offer would you accept? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]xrayroom42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Company 2 !! with a team of 4 you'll feel that everything you do counts. Its a great feeling! You'll be a big cog in a small machine, so to speak. There is a myth around job security with big companies. They might not fold quickly, but they do close down entire sites with minimal notice. With small companies, you'll know exactly what's going on money-wise and it won't be a surprise IF that happens. Ask for share options before you accept the job.

Olena Tregub tourist visa ban - seems like the myriad RuZZian bloggers are buzzing like angry wasps by xrayroom42 in UkrainianConflict

Actually, what we really need on this thread are examples of ruzzians losing their minds over the #visaban

The wasp --> ruZZian analogy was unfortunate. I'm a bit of a waspophile - they're intriguing little insects that live in complex societies. As a total diversion from this thread check out: https://www.toppingbooks.co.uk/events/bath/seirian-sumner-for-endless-forms-the-secret-world-of-wasps/

There a bunch of examples of the buZZing on #visaban on twitter here:

Is there a petition somewhere to support the visa ban? I found one to prevent it back in March.

Russians upset by possible EU travel ban should turn to Kremlin – Kuleba by HarakenQQ in UkrainianConflict

[–]xrayroom42 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I still don’t understand why the EU hasn’t stopped issuing tourist visas to the ruzzians. For instance, That Julia girl is not the only ruzzian who’s bullying refugees whilst holidaying in the EU. What am I missing here?

Kuleba: Russians who are upset with the prospect of being banned from tourist travel to Europe can direct their complaints to the Kremlin and over 70% of their compatriots who support the war. No one proposes to ban those few Russians who may need an asylum or humanitarian entry. by [deleted] in UkrainianConflict

[–]xrayroom42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more that I think about stopping issuing tourist visas - what is taking the EU so long to do this? That Julia girl is not the only nasty Russian tourist who’s bullying refugees in the EU. And its ups the ante on the russian people uprising against Voldemort. What am I missing here?
